Going to a wedding

Our dear friend, Christie Morrow is getting married today to a soon to be very dear friend Mark Wolfe.  We are heading to Stratford for the event, and it looks like it is going to be a steady rain from the forecast over at theweathernetwork.ca .  Boo to that, but it shall be a wonderful day none the less.  This is what the boys are giving the happy couple:

Trip to the ROM and the Jays

On Friday, we went to the ROM and saw the Jays BEAT the Yankees 5-4 in the bottom of the 9th.  Loads of fun (and a lot of walking).  Here are some photos.  (some of which I will be using at the Scrapping Nook's summer photo experience, btw!!)

Here we are in front of the ROM (just about 4 blocks or so away from Penny's apartment) and Ethan is hiding behind Brad.

Ethan would alow me to take his photo, but not the nice lady who offered so we could all be together.

Ethan in front of a large dinosaur skeleton.  He wanted to jump in the photo to be flying just like the turtle!

Here, Ethan is digging for dinosaur bones and fossels.

The boys loved the ships - there were lots of paintings and a few models.

Look waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up - and here we are.  A couple right in front of us were the "go closer to home" contest winners, and got to move from this stunning view, to be right above the Jays' dugout. (they may have been hit by a ball later in the game, as many foul balls went in that direction)

Noah and I enjoying the game

Penny and Ethan enjoying the game.

Noah brought teddy with his Jay's outfit to enjoy the game.

Careful! don't blink - you may miss Bautista being walked again! (4x btw)

It must have been a long day, because in the 8th inning, Ethan fell asleep, and Noah tried, but by the bottom of the 9th, he just couldn't do it any more!

JK - Day 1

Ethan began JK yesterday - what a day of excitement!  He was so proud to be on the bus, and he did talk about how much fun he had.  Here's to 13 more years of fun!

getting shoes on:

so proud!

taking a flower for his teacher:

off of the bus!  Thanks Kelly!

A bit different for me - very quiet.  Did some errands without any boys, had a nice lunch out with just my hubby and even got some things organized at home.  Next day for Ethan isn't until a week from Thursday.  He is so excited, but has to wait again!

...and why am I using so much BoBunny lately, you ask???  Well!  Let me tell you.  Over at The Scrapping Nook Janice is running a BoBunny contest.  Read about it HERE.  How exciting!!!!  So, I've gone through my stash and have found all sorts of BoBunny - and that is why there is so much BoBunny on my LO's right now.  (Not to mention, I really love BoBunny, and it was really easy finding all sorts of BoBunny in my stash)

Here's one I'm entering in on the pagemaps blog: It is based on a sketch by Becky Fleck

materials used:  word stickers, journalling spot, sailboat sticker & pp - bo bunny; lace - maya road; staples - ek success; thread - coats; ink - ranger; pen - staedtler; letter stickers - cosmo cricket; corner rounder - ek success
