More challenges

I have been working steadily all week on The Scrapping Nook February challenges.  They are really great.  Here are some I've done:  This first one we were asked to "lift" someones work out of the gallery as inspiration.  This is from Chelle (I just LOVE her copic work - but I also liked the embossing idea.)

 this is using the Feb. Kit klub stuff of pink paislee.  The sketch is from Scrap~tures

The challenge was to do some colouring.  I coloured the flowers and a bit of the cardstock background

These next two photos are of a card I did for a Scrap~tures challenge to make a pop-up card.  I am going to give this card in the RAK that I am giving away over at TwoScrapbookFriends for a BINGO game that I am currently running.

Loving life RIGHT NOW!

One of the challenges this week on the Scrapping Nook on line crop is to crop what I love about life right now. I did a LO of my two fantastic children:  I also used Scrap~tures one word challenge of sunshine.

Some online crops have kept my mojo going...

Here we are in the middle of February! - I've been kept busy by some online crops from Scrap~tures two weekends ago,  TwoScrapbookFriends on the Superbowl weekend (Willie weekend in my neck of the woods) ;) and starting yesterday over at The Scrapping Nook.  All of these places are awesome communities.  Go and check them out for yourselves.

sketch challenge

here is my entry into the sketch competition at 2 Scrapbook Friends.  It is a pagemaps sketch (and you know how much I LOVE pagemaps).  I was asked not to show my neice's photo on the web by her parents, so that is why the photo is covered.

a weekend of scrapping challenges

I have been busy over at Scrap~tures message boards doing some awesome birthday challenges this past weekend.  Here are my creations:

This challenge was to have a lay out with a cake - Grandma Becker's 90th birthday party worked great for this!

materials:  pp- bo bunny, cardstock - bazzill & staples; font - teletype; punch - fiskars; flower - prima; letter stickers - cosmo cricket & doodlebug designs; zip dry; thread - gutterman; unknown pearls; sketch from sct pagemaps calendar

 The challenge here was to use GOLD - I used gold glitter, and then used my heat gun.

materials:  cardstock - bazzill, fiskars; stamps - studio G; ink - ranger; glitter - ranger; heat gun - Marvy; pop dots; zip dry

This was the hotpotato challenge ( I got a coolio blinkie, that I will try to put on this blog...) had to "scraplift the LO above, and had 60 minutes to complete:

This next one, had to use something in a group of three:

This is a new technique card that chelle gave us - I've changed the buttons out for pearls (as that was part of the challenge, and aparently I cannot read); I am sending it to my secret card reciepient for the Scrapping Nook for the January card swap
