Christmas in July???? !!!!

The Scrapping Nook is having a quick weekend crop starting today called, "Christmas in July".  This is my last "kick at the can" so to speak as my three month term as Guest Design Team Member is coming to an end. :(  I've had a really great time at this, and hope I have the opportunity to be a design team member again some day.  Here are some of my takes on some of the challenges.  And I've got a few more summer photo challenges too!

more photo challenges for the Scrapping Nook

This is another photo I'm using for the Scrapping Nook's summer photo experience:

Ethan gardening:

a challenge for going back home:  This was the first Christmas that Brad's extended Becker family had Christmas dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's new apartment away from the farmhouse that was sold.  The painting on the wall is one that Brad did of that farmhouse.

A challenge for two or more generations:  Brad's sister, Tammy, Grandma Becker and cousin Sarah Becker.

adventure day and more...

Today I'm going to post some photos of what we've been up to since Canada day.  We've had two adventure days (one which I wasn't prepared, because it was sort of an im-promp-to kind) I KNOW!  I, Tracy was not prepared, and didn't have my camera!  Anyway, here they are:

almost home after our road trip to Burlington, Hamilton and Kitchener:  After 9pm (and we left at 7:30 that morning!)

a little Magic for the St. Edmund's Tobermorry Coffee House:

Looking for a spider:

A nap???  Ethan said he wasn't ready for bed - and he told me he would sit "right here until I'm ready"...

Freeze fest last weekend - Ethan rode a pony:

Canada Day Weekend

It has been a busy one here in our family!  I've managed to get some more photos for The Scrapping Nook's summer photo experience.  And I'll share with you a LO from the Zoology line from Bo Bunny that I've been asked to work with as July is my last month as GDT member.

materials used:  bo bunny paper, journalling spot; maya road flower; bazill cardstock; staedtler pen; basic gray, pink paislee and doodlebug letter stickers; beacons and ez runner adhesive

Here's Ethan showing off his green tea that he shared with me!
