Hi there!
Well, the countdown is ON!!! Tonight, we're decorating the church's Christmas tree...the waiting of Advent will soon be over, and the Christ child will be here. Our family continues to do our "regular" stuff. This leads me to my December daily - day 19:

Noah practices almost every day. Each song/excercise 2x. |
I TOTALLY scraplifted this out of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine Fall 2011 edition. Becky Litz from Cranbrook, British Columbia made a "teacher survival kit and clipboard". I used some (ok, most) of her elements. I am not including a clipboard with all of the classmates signatures. That was a really good idea, I just leave things too long...Anyway, here is my result: I made one for each of the boys teachers. Every item has a tag on it explaining its importance.
|
materials used: simple stories pp, stickers, letter stickers; ranger ink; tim holtz distress tool; unknown stamp on tag (gift); beacons adhesive
|
the tags read:
animal cookies for when your classroom seems like a zoo
bani-aids for when things get a little rough
crayons to colour your day bright and cheerful
candle for when you are up late marking or planning
smarties because that's who you are teaching
kit kat bar because by the end of the day you'll probably need a "break"
eraser to remind you everyone makes mistakes
lifesavers for when you've had one of those days
paperclips to hold it all together
pencil to "write your wrongs"
robber band to remind you to be flexible
starburst to give you a "burst" of energy when you need it
tissues to wipe away the tears.... yours and theirs
toothpicks- to help you "pick" out the good qualities in others and yourself
